Innovation and / or Adaptive Re-Use:

A combination of partially closed and open plan office environments, it boasts flexible workspaces to encourage employee interaction and collaboration and ideal for private meetings, personal time for staff or group discussions and collaborations. The design aesthetics embrace and convey the sense and ambience of an urban place. This was achieved and exemplified through the use of diversifying interior styling and finishes that was applied within establishing a subtle discourse and equilibrium between the refined, textured and neutral pieces coupled with a more contemporary design selection. As the interior concept is modern and clean warmth is derived from natural materials and tones. It incorporates contemporary furniture selections, material finishes and accessories giving the space an overall refinement and elegance. One of the main design feature is the open air courtyard. The skylights and atrium let natural light in, while wooden floors create a “homey” atmosphere. The result is a myriad of spaces that allow workers to group together or work independently in a different setting as they please. The meeting room and reception lounge overlook this central point. The landscape design further enhances the interior of the office spaces as it brings in the outdoors indoors through the built-in benches and green walls.

Aesthetic Value & Functionality:

A successful office design completely changes how employees feel and even work. From increasing productivity and creativity to creating a sense of belonging and pride, great design is the key to nurturing stakeholders and enhancing brand values. Intended to foster a more collaborative working style, the architectural office brings together the studio’s 30 staff on one floor with customized pantry and printing room, meeting area as well as renovation of the public stairs, corridors and washrooms. The layout is left as open as possible, in favor of a plan where everyone works and creates together. This allows plenty of daylight to pass through the space, but also promotes the “democratic philosophy” of the firm. We have strive to preserve the practice’s ethos, which embodies the teamwork, flexibility and sustainable working practice that characterize their architecture and developments. Understanding how our client’s work is key to our success.

Manufacturing Efficiency & Sustainability:

Sustainable design can deliver great performance in energy and other resource use. In addition to higher productivity with employees by creating products, places, processes and systems which optimize human well-being without compromising the well-being of the planet. To support this we ensured that our designs have aspects of sustainability. Control over lighting and temperature levels were incorporated to allow employees are more productive in the office. Ways to minimize the number, amount, volume, weight, toxicity and use of materials, energy and water were studied and incorporated in our designs. While maximizing the use of materials, energy and other components that are clean and safe, renewable, easy to repair, reuse, recycle or refurbish and benign towards the environment.

Benefit to the Client:

The main design inspiration came from the clients themselves. Since they are managing and designing some of the most successful developments in the region and setting highest standard in design and development. We made sure their head office interiors reflect this to their clients. We studied and made sure the latest trends in office designs and work flows based on high productivity, motivation and creativity of employees were designed.
