Zain Mustafa was unanimously chosen as the Winner of the INDEX 2009 Contemporary Majlis Competition.  The judges were of the opinion that his final majlis design was forward-thinking and yet heavily entrenched in tradition and culture, with a clear understanding of nomadic and Islamic lifestyle motifs.
