2012 Majlis Finalists

The Majlis, a traditional feature of the Arabic interior design, meaning 'place of sitting' in Arabic, plays a significant role in Arab culture and heritage.

The INDEX International Design Exhibition is delighted to invite design professionals to rethink the "Majlis" by giving it a contemporary, avant garde and green perspective.

Winning designers will be given the opportunity to showcase their interpretation of a contemporary Majlis at INDEX 2013.
