LASVIT will have a dual role in October’s INDEX International Design Exhibition 2011. The leading designer and manufacturer of glass art installations will first unveil its Mysterious Forest, a unique feature that suspends an assortment of LASVIT’s unique glass art sculptures in midair for all to see. INDEX 2011 will unveil four glass art pieces: the the Twill, the Lasvit Crystal Wall, the Icefalls, and the Leaf.

Apart from that LASVIT arrives do Index also in the role of designer, but this time with a special twist. LASVIT has handcrafted custom trophies, named Mulia, for the award winner in each of the PIDA Awards Competition categories for architecture and interior design.

Handcrafted in true Czech glassmaking fashion, the Mulia trophies LASVIT provides for INDEX Dubai 2011 will each feature hand-blown glass that is swirled and fashioned to perfection. With each piece crafted in a single vivid colour and designed completely by hand, each Mulia is wholly different from the next. These special mementos signify the great recognition bestowed upon the award recipients. LASVIT’s Mulia will be presented by several of the event organizers’ executives in each of the categories: Winner of Majlis Competition, (Overall) Winner of Best Stand Award, and the Winning Team of INDEX Student Challenge.
